چکیده
In shock tube experiments, the interaction between reflected and boundary layer can induce bifurcation weak ignition. The ignition greatly affect delay time measurement in a experiment. this work, two-dimensional simulations considering detailed chemistry transport are conducted to investigate non-uniform behind shock. objectives interpret formation of induced by its transition strong for both hydrogen dimethyl ether. It is found that reflection incident at end wall produces wedge-shaped oblique foot wall. structure results interactions layer, which induces bifurcation. demonstrated local high-temperature spots bifurcated caused viscous dissipation pressure work. As post-reflected temperature increases, from stoichiometric hydrogen/oxygen mixture observed. relative sensitivity introduced characterize appearance Unlike mixture, not observed dimethylether/oxygen since it has relatively longer smaller sensitivity.

متن کاملThe Interaction between a Weak Normal Shock Wave and a Turbulent Boundary Layer
SUMMARY A theory is presented for the interaction between a weak normal shock in an initially uniform mainstream, and an idealised boundary layer, with frictionless, one-dimensional, subsonic flow, on a flat wall. Reasons are given for believing that, despite the drastic simplifications of the model, it is not altogether unreal. Hence it is hoped that the results will prove helpful in interpret...
متن کاملDNS of unsteady shock boundary layer interaction
A novel numerical scheme has been developed to simulate high speed viscous flows in complex geometries using unstructured grids. A characteristic–filter based shock capturing scheme is applied as a corrector step to a non–dissipative predictor scheme. This algorithm is being used to study shock turbulent boundary layer interactions and this paper presents the results of a turbulent flow at Mach...
متن کاملAnalysis of shock motion in shockwave and turbulent boundary layer interaction using direct numerical simulation data
Direct numerical simulation data of a Mach 2.9, 24◦ compression ramp configuration are used to analyse the shock motion. The motion can be observed from the animated DNS data available with the online version of the paper and from wall-pressure and mass-flux signals measured in the free stream. The characteristic low frequency is in the range of (0.007–0.013) U∞/δ, as found previously. The shoc...
متن کاملShock Wave / Boundary Layer Interaction Experiment on Control Surface
The shock wave / boundary layer interaction (SWBLI) experiment is part of the EXPERT mission. SWBLI is studied on two identical fixed compression ramps made of C/SiC, which are models for control surfaces. The flow separates on the flat surfaces upstream of the compression ramps and reattaches on the ramp surfaces. A reattachment shock results, which interacts with the boundary layer. One ramp ...
